Documents And Demos

To assist in our own development and testing, we have created various test software utilities that have become useful for general purpose testing. Below you are welcome to download and freely use these tools such as our OPC server browser and our OPC data access client. In addition we are pleased to make available the PowerPAC-OPC manual and PowerPAC-OPC help file which can also be downloaded by following the links below.

OPC Browser This free OPC browser utility allows you to browse your PC along with the local network for OPC servers. Once you find an OPC server, you can browse the server address space to see the arrangement of the OPC tags.

Click here to download the power OPC browser. Neither this nor any other OPC server or OPC client will work unless you install the OPC Core Components from the OPC Foundation website.

OPC Data Access Client This free OPC data access client utility allows you to browse local and network OPC servers, and to connect and subscribe to data presented by an OPC server. As it is intended to be easy to use, this simple utility attempts to subscribe to all available tags and continuously displays the updates of their values. A subset of tags can be selected via the tag select option, and optional simple debug information can be displayed by selecting the debug option.

PowerPAC Demo This 30 day trial version of our flagship PowerPAC-OPC product demonstrates the power of PowerPAC and its OPC server, allowing you to connect an OPC client and view the simulated data from PowerPAC. Included in this demo are some simple HMI displays as well as the sample dictionary which provides a logical mapping between the simulated data and the OPC tags. The
